I dont remember the rest. One option was enable vmkernel port for vmotio. Another option was provide valid IP address for the Vmkernel port. The other 2 choices I dont remember.

You are still wrong, even the VMware documentation says that a trigger for ALL conditions can be set for an warning, rather than a critical event.

Also this is not the real world, its the vcp-nv exam, which is wholly different!

Raggomoo - Re question about triggering alerts on ANY / ALL conditions.

Yes the question says that they want to monitor cpu AND memory.
However, if you set the condition to ALL, you will not get any warnings until the % rises to the ALERT level!
In the real world you want to know when ANY of these conditions is reached.
Otherwise, if the CPU reaches 100% you won't get an alert if the RAM is less than 65%.

Sadly, I have 20 long sad years of configuring this sort of thing at work. So, the answer is ANY not ALL.

Took the test in the USA last week and passed. But, like some others said, the answers in the dump don't entirely match-up with what VMware expects. But, I passed easily anyway. Probably 90% were from Test A. Even though this dump is not 100% correct, you can study it IMO and nothing else and pass with room to spare.

Have a big doubt about the "correct" answer given in question 106:

The dump say that one of the three answers is "Trigger if ALL of the conditions are satisfied radio button".

I don't think that this is right since it would mean that BOTH the CPU and ALSO the Memory thresholds would need to be reached before any warning or alert was generated. I think that the the third answer should be "Trigger if ANY of the conditions are satisfied radio button".

VMware prerequisites still exist for vcp-nv-510. In order to get certified by the end of february you MUST already be vcp-nv-410 (vcp-nv4) certified. You cannot be a new person to vSphere with no certifications expect to pass this test and be certified. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I was a vcp-nv 4 so yesterday I took and passed the exam so I am a vcp-nv 5. However if you don't have a vcp-nv 4 cert and take/pass this test you will still be required to take the course.

Passed with 461. Folks, a word of caution, go S-L-O-W on the test and take your time answering the questions, I left 45 mins on the clock and i was moving at a snails pace. I saw one new question and that was it. I would agree that most of the questions came from test A.
